DICTIONARY

NEO-ENGLISH
Part I
Unforeseen circumstances have compelled us to divide the Neo-English vocabulary into two parts.
The student who does not find a word in Part I will have to consult Part II.
This inconvenience will of course be remedied in future editions of this book.
Already well behind the schedule for publication early in 1966, we prefer leaving many mistakes unmended instead of suffering further delay.
Considering also that the author had to undertake himself this work that was beyond his strength, he hopes to obtain the studenVs indulgence.
IMPORTANT NOTE. — We noticed in Part I of this book («Grammar») that in the present tence the verb «to be» is often omitted in Neo :
Petro bon boy Peter is a good boy
Nos ni pava We are never afraid,
This use may be extended to other tenses when the sentence contains an adverb that locates the time of the action :
Mi yer Parisye I was in Paris yesterday
Nos sun Londonye We’ll soon be in London.
