Chicago 1990 Chapter 1172: Still rely on
The next morning, Song Ya Shakira and his party rushed to the FIFA conference in Lausanne to rehearse for the performance and wait for the voting results.
"Let him rest for a while, it's too tired."
Shakira looked at Song Ya who was lying in the backstage lounge and fished in distress, "I only came back this morning."
"Ugh."
Donovan and Hayden couldn't bear to tell the Latin girl about their conversation with the little Bronfman yesterday. They noticed that Song Ya was not asleep, but placed the back of their hands on their foreheads and looked at the Oscars on the TV. The ceremony was in a daze, and from time to time he closed his eyes with painful expressions.
"APLUS." Donovan took his mobile phone and showed him a text message.
"Universal Records President Doug Morris publicly urged the RIAA to pass the advertising ban, and boycotted the failure of the last round of voting, the chairman of the Copyright Dispute Committee Daniel Glass. He believed that he failed to play a constructive role from the standpoint of the recording industry and must do so. Be responsible for. ’
The text message is the latest news from Los Angeles from the William Morris agency.
"Ok."
It seems that Doug Morris has turned the helm, choosing to decisively dismiss the relationship with Daniel and prove his loyalty to the boss.
He and David Geffen should both be very disappointed with their performance last night. They managed to mediate the paved road, but they refused to bow their heads.
David Geffen might yell at himself like Ovitz after returning to the United States, to please Bronfman.
Then it is inevitable for Daniel Glass to step down after voting. Last night...
Little Bronfman didn't lose his temper when he heard his cruel words. The noble son shrugged with a sneer, and then walked away without saying a word.
The consequences of offending the Bronfman family are very bad. All records of the joint venture between A+ Records and Universal’s Geffen Records are distributed by Universal, involving themselves, Fergie, Mira, Brenda, Mon, Dion Wilson, etc. The future of the signed singer.
Song Ya made a mental calculation before. Because he took a lot of signing fees, the penalty for early termination of the contract was naturally sky-high. Excluding the current album, the remaining one for a new song and one selected penalty for the contract depends on the specific situation. Between $150 million and $150 million, if you breach the contract, you have to post half of your A+ record for nothing.
There is also A+ Liquor, which has signed a long-term underwriting contract with Seagram. If the trump card product Grey Goose Vodka gets stuck on the channel, the blow will be almost devastating.
Currently Universal Pictures still has a release contract for a sequel to My Life and two sequels to Blade Warrior.
Of course, there is also the IPO loss of Vittman Media affected by the negative advertising ban.
These are all trivial things for the young Bronfman, who can be done with just a few phone calls. The rich three generations are no longer reliable, and the resources in their hands are almost crushing, far from the Motura who was full of words. comparable.
Chongguan was annoyed as his ex-wife, so it hurts to calm down and think about it.
Money, he must be richer to have the capital to fight the rich three generations. He suddenly felt anxious, and he did not hesitate to endure the pain of the accumulation of apocalyptic fragments, looking in his mind for the apocalyptic movies, music and other investment enlightenments he got during the coma.
In addition to the girl next door, the wolf of Wall Street, there are also the original version of Dance Out of My Life 2, Growth Education, Fifty Shades of Ash, Dream Requiem, Burst Drummer, etc. There are quite a few.
"Uh? Donovan? Do you know that there is a legendary black doctor at Johns Hopkins Hospital, Vivian Thomas? He participated in the invention of a new heart surgery method that saved the baby from cyanosis? His picture is still hanging in Johns. The wall of the Hopkins Medical School?"
But there are not many black movies? He picked one of them? The title "SethingTheLordMade" seems to have some potential for winning the prize. It means that a carpenter finally entered Johns Hopkins from a carpenter in an era of racism. Sri Lanka Hospital? A story finally recognized by the world.
"Don't think about it now, APLUS, do you take a break? When we finish today, we need to discuss the future."
Donovan was inexplicable when he suddenly mentioned an irrelevant matter? Persuaded.
"But you don't need to be like headless flies now, just do some work when you have time."
Song Ya raised his eyes and glanced at him, "Personally I suggest you William Morris don't forget, I can always win."
"Okay." Donovan and Hayden both picked up the phone and called back to the United States to ask? Soon? Hayden replied: "Vivian Thomas is right, there is this person who passed away in 1985, and has a book in 1989. "LikeSethingtheLordMade"'s biographical novel'LikeSethingtheLordMade' is the story."
"Let Yeremov buy the right to adapt the film as soon as possible. Then, the Requiem of Dreams, and see if there are any original works."
"Little Hugh Port Selby's novel RequiemforaDream in 1978."
"OK? Let Yeremov talk about it."
"Growth education?"
"I haven't heard, I haven't asked about this book."
"Fifty shades of gray?"
"No? Not even the Burst Drummer."
He turned Donovan and Hayden branch around, which temporarily relieved the anxiety of the two? At this time, someone rushed into the lounge. "There seems to be something wrong over there? Some representatives are exiting the venue in protest!"
"Hush!" Song Ya stopped everyone's panic? Pointing to the TV.
The reason for the jet lag? It’s already night in the United States. This year’s Oscars did not have a man and a woman guest pairing. The presenters were all on stage alone, and there was no room for personal play. Xue Linfen wore a slender Dior high-definition appearance, and greeted the star-studded auditorium in a charming manner. The close-up shots followed her until she stood on the podium, "Uh..."
The gorgeous face of the golden age of Hollywood has not diminished a bit, with big red lips, thick tears, short white blonde hair, quite the temperament of Eliza Tyler and Monroe, but unfortunately the typhoon is not enough for superstars, she has visible nervousness. The first half of the cup exposed to the outside fluctuated sharply and was breathtaking. It took a few seconds to calm down and say: "The nominees for the best comedy and musical soundtrack are the brainchild of outstanding writers. We will dance Introduce these five works in form...please please."
Then, a dance performance incorporating five movie elements began, and she disappeared from the screen.
"What's the matter?" Song Ya asked the person who reported the letter.
"It seems that the presidential election will be postponed to June." The man replied.
In the lounge, everyone looked at each other. Estefan knew more about FIFA. "Our theme song is just a small matter. Is it postponed to June? The recording industry can't afford to wait. The World Cup will open in August!"
"No, the afternoon briefing should be decided."
"That is not bad."
Everyone breathed a sigh of relief again, Song Ya continued to watch, Xue Linfen and other dance performances ended, and the award was presented to Anduli, the female soundtrack of the Six Heroes of Light Pig.
Small awards, this is already the middle of the Oscars ceremony. The crew of the Titanic has been on stage to receive awards before and after, and there is a tendency to sweep wildly.
"Haha, Xiao Lizi accepted the reporter's interview by the way while dining in a restaurant, it should be deliberate."
Hayden answered a call with gossip news and said with a smile: "It seems that he has a deep grievance with the Oscar jury."
