What had she done?

Kaelin knew she should feel something bad–guilt or regret or even shame.

But dammit, all she felt was a rapturous glow of pleasure, her body still pulsing around Tyler inside her.

It was hard to believe after all these years this had actually happened. Maybe it was just a dream, another of those erotic dreams she often had. But no. Tyler’s body was hot and solid and heavy on hers, even though he took some of his weight on his elbows. And Nick sat beside them, stroking her damp hair off her forehead.

She would keep this memory for the rest of her life, and she passed the next few moments reliving every touch, every word, every sensation, storing them carefully away, wanting to be able to recall those details. The smell of Tyler’s hair and skin, warm hints of exotic spice and cedar, the texture of his hair beneath her fingers, the satisfying fullness she felt with him inside her. The gentleness of Nick’s touches, his fingers on her nipples, the sweetness of his tongue on her. The beauty of both their bodies, Nick so thickly muscled and brawny, Tyler’s muscles leaner and more elegant.

“Am I squashing you?” Tyler murmured, lifting off her. Their skin clung damply, and as he withdrew from inside her she let out a soft sigh, disliking very much that feeling of separation.

“No, I’m fine.”

Tyler disappeared into the bathroom, no doubt to get rid of the condom, and returned a moment later, walking across the room with long-legged athletic grace, naked and breathtakingly gorgeous. She sighed again.

Nick drew the covers up over all three of them, him on one side of her, Tyler on the other. What was supposed to happen now?

The two men slid their arms around her and pressed their heated bodies against her and she couldn’t bring herself to move. She lay there between them, Nick petting her shoulder, Tyler’s hand resting on her stomach. “I should go,” she said, not moving a muscle.

“Stay,” Nick murmured. “One night. Remember?”

“I’m hungry,” Tyler said and amusement bubbled up inside her.

“There’s a vending machine down the hall,” Nick said.

“Huh.” Tyler sounded interested but made no move, either. “Maybe in a few minutes.”

They lay like that for a while, and Kaelin thought she might have drifted off to sleep, floating on a sensual cloud of pleasure, until the bed moved as Tyler hauled himself out of it. She watched him step into a pair of jeans he retrieved from his suitcase, zipping them but not buttoning them. They rode dangerously low on his hips and he turned his back to grab his wallet from the dress pants he’d had on earlier, giving her a view of the deep ridges of muscle on either side of his spine and the twin indentations at the base, the jeans so low she was afraid he might be soon revealing that incredible ass. “Back in a minute,” he said, and left the room.

Kaelin turned her gaze to Nick, thinking he might be asleep, but he watched her solemnly. “Okay?” he murmured, lifting a hand to tuck a piece of hair behind her ear.

She blew out a breath. “Yes. I’m okay.”

“You’ve wanted that for a long time.”

She pressed her lips together, lowered her eyes and didn’t answer.

“Or should I say, you’ve wanted him for a long time.”

Her eyes flew up to meet his.

“It’s okay, Kaelin. I understand. But I want you to know…I want you too.”

Heat swept over her and her tummy did a flip. “Oh, Nick.” She laid her hand on his cheek. While he didn’t incite the same tornado of feelings inside her that Tyler did, she’d thought about him a lot too, that summer they’d hung out together, wondering what it would be like to kiss him, to touch him. She liked him so much, and there was no denying the physical attraction she still felt for him. So when he moved his face toward hers on the pillow, she met him halfway and kissed him back. Warm and gentle, his kiss had her skin tingling all over and her breasts aching again.

The door opened and shut. They dragged their mouths apart to look at Tyler, walking toward them in those sexy, low-slung jeans, the muscles of his abs outlined and disappearing in a V below the open waistband. Any woman who’d run into him in the hall had gotten a treat.

He lifted a brow at seeing them kissing but said nothing, tossing several bags onto the bed. From under one arm he pulled out two bottles of water.

Nick pushed up and reached for a bag. “Chips. Excellent.”

“Plain and all-dressed. And Doritos.”

The guys ripped open the bags and they sat there, Tyler cross-legged and bare-chested on the end of the bed, Nick still in his underwear and her naked with a sheet over her, devouring the junk food. God, Doritos had never tasted so good.

And then something struck her.

The hotel room had only one bed. The hotel room that Tyler and Nick were sharing.

Her fuzzy brain sharpened, thoughts coming together, and she paused with a chip halfway to her mouth. She tipped her head to one side, looked from Tyler to Nick and back again.

“What?” Tyler mumbled.

She swallowed. “I just noticed something.”

“What?”

“This room only has one bed.”

“Yeah.” When Tyler’s eyes met hers, she knew he knew what she was asking.

He looked at Nick. Nick looked at him. They both looked back at her.

Chapter Eight

In the space of seconds, about a million thoughts ran through Kaelin’s head.

They were gay. They were a gay couple. Once in high school there’d been a crazy rumor about them, but she’d completely disregarded it because of Tyler’s reputation with girls. They’d both dated lots of girls. Girls had been after both of them, all the time, but especially Tyler. She’d seen them together naked, but that didn’t mean anything. But what other explanation could there be for sharing a bed? She was pretty sure two straight guys wouldn’t share a bed. A hotel room maybe, but not a bed. Or would they? But after the things they’d just done with her, how could they…?

Confusion muddled her thinking as she watched them, waiting for them to say something.

“It’s complicated,” Tyler finally said, and took a swig of water from a bottle.

She stared at him. “Complicated?”

“As in, hard to explain.”

She shook her head. If they were gay, how would she feel about that? Her chest tightened. “I guess it’s none of my business,” she finally managed to say.

“Fuck,” Tyler muttered, swiping a hand over his face.

“I’d say after what just happened here, it kind of is your business,” Nick said quietly.

“It doesn’t matter,” she said. Because really, it didn’t. This was one crazy night of being bad. Their relationship with each other made no difference to her. But another thought intruded. Had she made them do something they hadn’t wanted to? Oh, that was just a bit humiliating.

Tyler sighed and ran his hand through his hair. “Nick and I started fooling around in high school,” he said, and she kept her jaw from dropping at the admission. Holy crap. “I don’t even know if we can explain it. We both like girls too.”

“I think we just wanted sex all the time,” Nick added dryly.

“Actually, I think it might have had something to do with knowing how freakin’ pissed off my parents would be if they found out.” Tyler grimaced. “At least at first.”

Oh lord. That was so Tyler, the bad-boy rebel. Wow. She kept listening.

“Neither of us has ever been with any other guy,” Tyler told her. “It’s just a…thing we have. With each other.”
