Sandy pulled up in her SUV while Bud was being loaded into the ambulance. She took Laurie to the hospital while the ski patrol gave Adrienne Bud’s equipment. His board was broken, and there were marks on the helmet where his head hit.
The GoCam seemed to be okay, so we played it to see what happened. It showed Bud checking out Adrienne and Kara. As the trail turned, he was intent on watching them and ran off the edge. You could hear him cuss as his head snapped around. Then he ran right into a large pine tree. It would have been funny if we hadn’t just seen him being rushed to the hospital.
WE WENT TO THE TENT to get ready for the shoot. Adrienne talked to us about being professional and doing our job. I knew she was right, but I was worried about Bud because I’d started to like him. Before we began the shoot, Sandy called Bev to let her know Bud was okay. He’d broken his left wrist and left leg, but was awake and responsive. She let us know that Laurie had bowed out to look after her brother.
The run they’d blocked off had a section that was out of view of the camera. It turned almost ninety degrees, then there was a nice straight run. They’d arranged it so there was a jeep that would run us up the slope, and then we could make the short run where Bev could photograph us.
For the first run, Bev wanted us to play follow-the-leader. Since I was the least experienced, I was made the leader; that way I didn’t run anybody over. She wanted me to do some wide turns and slowly wind my way down the slope. Bev seemed happy with the result. We spent the rest of the morning wearing different outfits and with different combinations of skiers.
We broke for lunch and ate in the resort to get warmed up. Sandy showed up and ate with us. She told us Bud was fine, and Devin had picked up Nancy.
After lunch, we went back to the ranch. They had a snowmobile with a disc sled attached to a rope on the back. Of course, I volunteered to ride the sled first. Sandy decided to drive the snowmobile so Kara could learn to drive it. They got on, and the only advice Sandy gave me was not to fall off.
I had on my GoCam because Bev wanted to capture the video. Sandy gunned it, and I flipped off the back, to the amusement of everyone. We tried it again, and I was ready this time. On the first turn, the edge of the sled caught in the snow, and I went rolling into a snowbank. I learned to lean into the turns, so the lip of the sled would stay up. Once I figured it out, I had a blast.
Adrienne bowed out of the sled rides. Kara, Sandy and I took turns driving and riding. We were all freezing by the time Bev called it quits for the day. Sandy had a great idea for warming up: the hot tub. Kendal and Tiffany joined us; Adrienne and Tyler had gone into town to spend some one-on-one time together. The hot tub was where Devin and Nancy found us.
“I should have known you’d find the prettiest girls here and talk them into stripping off most of their clothes,” Nancy teased me.
I got out and she ran over and gave me a kiss, which put a funny look on Devin’s face. I introduced Nancy to everyone. Nancy said she was tired and needed a quick nap. I got the idea and decided to join her.
“OH, DAVID, YES ... just like that,” Nancy moaned.
The door had barely closed and we had our clothes off. Nancy had wanted me to go down on her. I was more than willing as I worked her over. She must have been anticipating this all day because she was soaking wet and ready when I began to pleasure her. I’d never seen her this turned on.
Her first orgasm came moments after I started. She then had her second and third in quick succession. I was diligently working on giving her a fourth, enjoying how she responded to me. In reality, what I was responding to was her giving excellent directions. I wished all women would tell you if you were doing a good job. It fed your ego, plus it made it more gratifying for her. Nancy had a big one and then started pushing me away.
“Enough, you’re killing me,” she begged.
I rubbed my face on her stomach, leaving it damp. She gave me a dirty look and I just grinned at her.
“Don’t be making faces at me,” I told her.
“You could’ve used a washcloth,” she complained.
“Then I would’ve had to get out of bed. Do you want to return the favor, or do you want to jump to the main event?” I asked.
She patted the bed and I crawled up next to her. She decided to return the favor. I didn’t think it was quite a fair trade-off when I climaxed after only a few minutes. I had been on edge for so long Mr. Happy had no staying power. She just giggled and ran to the bathroom. When I heard the shower, I knew she wasn’t coming back.
When she was done I took mine and came out to find her dressed.
“Devin invited us out for dinner tonight. We need to get moving,” she told me.
I got dressed and told her about my day. I wanted to stop by the hospital and check on Bud. Nancy told me she and Devin had explored Park City while I worked. She showed me the earrings he’d bought her.
“I couldn’t believe the price,” she bragged. “It must be nice to be able to spend that kind of money.”
“How much were they?” I asked.
“Almost five hundred. But he said it was worth it because they look great on me.”
I had to admit they did. If I didn’t know better, I’d be worried about Devin buying her jewelry. He was a generous guy, though. I was lucky he was a friend.
DINNER WAS FANTASTIC. We went to one of the resorts I hadn’t been to before. Devin had arranged for a special menu, so everyone had the same meal. I lost count after the fifth course. It was a sampler menu of Devin’s favorite foods. The problem was, with each course there was a wine that went with it. I stuck with iced tea, but the girls were all feeling the effects; at altitude, alcohol could sneak up on you.
Kara and Nancy were feeling no pain. After dinner, we went to the hospital to check in on Bud and found he was bored. He told us he would be out soon. Devin suggested we go back to the ranch and enjoy the hot tub. I think he just wanted to see Adrienne in a swimsuit. Poor Bud almost checked himself out so he could see exactly that.
Devin and I were the first ones into the hot tub.
“Nancy liked the earrings you got her,” I said.
“She’s a great girl and I had a good time hanging out with her today. I promised her I’d take her horseback riding tomorrow while you’re working.”
“I appreciate you taking time off from work to show her around. I think she’ll enjoy seeing the valley. You have a great place here.”
“Thanks. I’ll make sure she’s not bored. I need a few days off anyway. You’re a lucky guy, David. I knew if you found a girl to bring for the holidays, she had to be special. I really need to start looking for a girl like her.”
“I think you’re right. You might consider getting off the ranch every once in a while if you’re serious,” I suggested.
Adrienne and Tyler joined us. Kara came out and motioned me to follow her and I was glad I did. She took me to my room where I found a naked Nancy. Kara gave me a passionate kiss and left us. Nancy more than made up for earlier. I was going to enjoy the next few days getting to know her better.
Monday December 22
MY CELL PHONE RANG, waking us up. I had to hop out of bed because it was on the dresser, charging. Nancy grabbed my pillow and used it to cover her head. I quickly answered it as I stepped out of the bedroom.
“David, are you coming home for Christmas Break?” Alan asked.
I was shocked and confused. I was shocked because I hadn’t expected Alan to call. I was confused by his question because Alan knew I wasn’t coming home until school started.
