Chapter 13
Then I stood on the sand of the sea. I saw a beast coming up out of the sea, having ten horns and seven heads. On his horns were ten crowns, and on his heads, blasphemous names. The beast which I saw was like a leopard, and his feet were like those of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion. The dragon gave him his power, his throne, and great authority. One of his heads looked like it had been wounded fatally. His fatal wound was healed, and the whole earth marveled at the beast. They worshiped the dragon, because he gave his authority to the beast, and they worshiped the beast, saying, "Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him?" A mouth speaking great things and blasphemy was given to him. Authority to make war for forty-two months was given to him. He opened his mouth for blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his dwelling, those who dwell in heaven. It was given to him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them. Authority over every tribe, people, language, and nation was given to him. All who dwell on the earth will worship him, everyone whose name has not been written from the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb who has been killed. If anyone has an ear, let him hear. If anyone has captivity, he will go into captivity. If anyone is with the sword, he must be killed. Here is the endurance and the faith of the saints.
I saw another beast coming up out of the earth. He had two horns like a lamb, and he spoke like a dragon. He exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence. He makes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast, whose fatal wound was healed. He performs great signs, even making fire come down out of the sky to the earth in the sight of people. He deceives my own people who dwell on the earth because of the signs he was granted to do in front of the beast; saying to those who dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast who had the sword wound and lived. It was given to him to give breath to it, to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause as many as wouldn't worship the image of the beast to be killed. He causes all, the small and the great, the rich and the poor, and the free and the slave, to be given marks on their right hands, or on their foreheads; and that no one would be able to buy or to sell, unless he has that mark, the name of the beast or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. He who has understanding, let him calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man. His number is six hundred sixty-six.
First beast (the beast that came up out of the sea) – is the European Union (EU).
Out of the sea – from the "hell", this is the lowest spiritual level of the population. Noticeably different from the spiritual level of the dragon and the spiritual level of the second beast: the dragon falls from the "sky", the second beast comes out of the "earth".
Beast coming up out of the sea, having ten horns and seven heads. On his horns were ten crowns – the number of heads and horns of the beast, like that of the dragon, is the same: it means geographically – this is approximately the same part of the world (West). However, the diadems of the beast are not on the heads, but on the horns. This means that the beast is that part of the dragon which is the totality of all the horns. And the dragon is that part of the beast, which is the totality of all heads. This means that the beast is the part of the dragon that does not think. And the dragon is the part of the beast that thinks. That is, ten horns are those countries that have their own sovereignty and their own ruler, since they have diadems (crowns). But they don't have a head. That is, the beast who has power does not have his own brains. That is, they have nothing to think about and, therefore, they are not able to make independent decisions. Thinks and all decisions for these countries (for the beast) are made by the dragon (G7).
And on his heads, blasphemous names – a "single" "economy" of "states". Here the names are only on the heads, then the names will also be on the body. This shows the process of more and more penetration of the dragon's tentacles into the life of the people, the life of ordinary citizens. With its tentacles, the international state union unceremoniously sucks the juices out of people. More and more, the word “country”, which is pleasing to divine ears, is being replaced by the blasphemous word “state”. In the end, people completely cease to distinguish the difference between these two words.
The beast which I saw was like a leopard – his secrecy is like a leopard.
His feet were like those of a bear – putting pressure on other countries and on the population. The European Union walks reliably and firmly on the ground like the feet of a bear.
His mouth like the mouth of a lion – upholding his truth is like a lion's roar.
The dragon gave him his power, his throne, and great authority – the head of the EU is present at the G7 summits.
One of his heads looked like it had been wounded fatally. His fatal wound was healed – Germany.
And the whole earth marveled at the beast. They worshiped the dragon, because he gave his authority to the beast, and they worshiped the beast, saying, "Who is like the beast?" – The population with an average (mundane) spiritual level believed that the system of global state capitalism created by the dragon is the most correct system for organizing society.
"Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him?" – The EU has overtaken almost everyone else in terms of economic indicators.
A mouth speaking great things and blasphemy was given to him – for example, to say that supposedly the EU is the wife of the Apocalypse.
Authority to make war for forty-two months was given to him – "forty-two months" – this is the period of the prophecy of the two prophets. This is an indication of the fight against the SL. The EU is the very beast that defeated and killed the SL (ch. 11).
He opened his mouth for blasphemy against God – that supposedly God is omnipotent, that God is omnipresent, that God created the universe, that God created everything, that God created evil, that God created the devil, that God consciously admits the existence of evil, that God created man, that at the birth of man God creates his soul, that God is flawless, that God cannot to make mistakes, that God is not the same living being, a creature like all others, that man is a creation of God, that man is a beloved creation of God, that God gives man freedom, and not that man originally has it by itself as it is, that monotheism is a progressive version of religion, that the highest goal of religion should be God and that it is God who teaches everyone this way, that God is pleased with the stupid memorization of the Bible, that the presence or absence of a view or image of God is very important, that the presence or absence of the correct name of God is very important, that the triunity of God is very important what is very important is what is or is not included in the holy trinity, what is very important is the presence or absence of symbols of faith and what is included in them, that Jesus Christ is monotheistic with God, that Jesus Christ is God, that God is against Buddhism, yoga, Catholicism, Orthodoxy, Judaism, Islam, paganism, sectarianism, new religious movements, new age, unification of religions, syncretism, that God recognizes and approves the division into different religions, into different confessions, into different religious schools and teachings, and that God forbids a believer of one religion to enter the temple of another religion, that God does not recognize reincarnation and the law of karma that any authority is from God.
He opened his mouth for blasphemy against God – a widespread lie that supposedly God is against socialism and communism.
