Таким образом, открытые Эйди «волны приближения», видимо, отражают электрическую активность какого-то мозгового механизма, лежащего в основе процессов обучения и памяти. Исследования продолжаются не только на кошках, но и на обезьянах. В Институте мозга устанавливают новую электронную аппаратуру с целью ускорить и расширить применение методов взаимно-корреляционного анализа и других современных методов обработки информации, оказавшихся чрезвычайно полезными в этой работе. Можно ожидать, что в будущем мы еще услышим об Эйди и об открытых им волнах.
