When I started teaching Python 2 years ago, I was amazed to find a variety of learning resources online. I learnt the language and started teaching it to my students. But it became increasingly difficult to put together some concepts and create applications. The free tutorials did not explain, for example, how to populate a dictionary with values from the user. It took a lot of time to refer good books and create teaching notes. These notes have taken the shape of this book.
Python is a simple yet powerful programming language. The entire focus of this book is to simplify the basic concepts of Python. It is based on syllabus of schools and engineering colleges and should cater to any beginner wishing to learn Python.
