Levi offered me the world, but Pace showed me the sky, and for me that is enough. Because my world is here, and I am anxious to see how it all turns out in the end. But still I can’t help but turn and take one last look at the Quest, which is now just a dot in the bright blue of the sky. Then a flash of yellow catches my eye and Pip darts in and settles on Pace’s shoulder.
My world, once hollow, is now endless with possibilities. And my sky is so very blue. But not as blue as Pace’s eyes.
