“Monde Triple-Extra” parodies the class and gender politics of a very modernist sort of celebrity — see, for instance, mention of “la petite Duchesse de Da Da”. These concerns echo Loy’s satires of FUTURISM such as “The Pamperers,” and suggest that this story was written in the late teens or twenties.
