To all these bands and individuals, I want to say you have given so much, you don’t even have any idea what you’ve given, and you can never be repaid for your talents and your gifts.

I know I’m leaving out thousands of great bands. I’m leaving out bands who shot like fiery comets across the stages of small town clubs and burned out long before I was born. I’m leaving out bands who are being born as I write this. I’m leaving out the band who dyed their hair silver, and the band who tore it up on stage in togas. I’m leaving out the band who no one could understand, and the one who dared to smile for their picture.
I’d like to end here with three words, delivered with a jump and shout: Support live music!
