J. prefers not to use an office for most of his illegal clients; instead, he uses a run-down place in the ghetto as a contact point. He also conducts legitimate business as Jason Jenks, an attorney with a fancy office in a skyscraper in Seattle, and as Jason Scott, an attorney with a modest practice in the suburbs.
J. started working for Jasper Hale and the rest of the Cullen family in the late 1980s.
