The Bones of the Earth came out in 2012. You might call it an epic fantasy, but I prefer the term that I made up, historical magic realism.
I followed that in 2013 with One Shade of Red, an erotic romantic spoof. In 2015, I entered the Kindle World of fan fiction, after being invited to write for Toby Neal’s Lei Crime Kindle World and Russell Blake’s JET Kindle World. I responded with Torn Roots and Jet: Stealth, respectively. Since then, I have published two more Lei Crime Kindle World books and a Sydney Rye Kindle World novella, The Wife Line. A fourth Lei Crime Kindle World novella, Echoes, will be released in May 2017.
The first volume in the true story of Maurice Bury, my father-in-law, Army of Worn Soles, hit the shelves in 2014. For a short time, it was #3in the Military Memoirs in Canada category, behind Canadian supersoldier Cody Mitic’s Unflinching: The Making of a Canadian Sniper.
Under the Nazi Heel is the second book in the series. It was published in February 2016.
In between writing books and blog posts, I’ve also helped found an author’s cooperative publishing venture, Independent Authors International, and I am active in the author’s professional association BestSelling Reads.
