Carly can think of worse fates than ruling Gotari as Queen in the Player vs Player Virtual Reality MMORPG game Battle for Glory – such as living as ex-king Raax’s slave. On the other hand, her advisors and courtiers won’t let her do anything exciting – like questing after the rogue dragon that the handsome dragon shifter, Lord Garik, from the neighboring Dragon Realms has just warned her about.

When Carly loses her kingdom and finds the Orc King, Raax, after her again, vowing to return her to slavery in his harem, she figures that discretion might indeed be the better part of valor. Together with her bitter rival, the vicious drow princess Izzy Szin, the elfmaid hits the ground running, hoping they can move fast enough and go far enough to escape that worse fate.

With Raax and his minions behind her, danger and death before her, and beside her an ally that might just as soon betray as aid her, Carly plunges forward, gaining new and powerful adversaries. One misstep, and she knows she’ll respawn again within King Raax’s grasp – and a second escape hardly seems likely.

Wisdom suggests that she keep a low profile, and go into hiding. But the ambitious elfmaid cannot turn down a challenge, so it becomes do or die as Carly seeks to do what she does best: ridding the land of evil – in this case the cursed dragon, Vikarous.

This LitRPG/GameLit book is adult themed, both bloody and sexy. Prudes and the squeamish should avoid lest your hold on sanity be shaken.
