Abstract
The book describes modern methods of mathematical statistics for use in processing the results of agricultural experiments and biological experiment data. The book is intended both for readers who are unfamiliar with methods of mathematical statistics and for experimenters who want to learn about more advanced methods of data processing. It provides a detailed description of the analysis of variance of multifactorial experiments in which the test objects are affected by several factors rather than just one.
The book is clearly intended as a practical guide. It does not provide mathematical justification or conclusions for the recommended formulas. However, readers have the opportunity to gain a fairly complete understanding of the basic principles of modern mathematical statistics through experimentation. The author provides a sufficient description of each method, defines its purpose, gives examples of calculations, bringing them to the final result and conclusions, and finally gives exercises.
Even the most difficult material is presented in a way that is easy to understand and does not require knowledge of differential and integral calculus. The book contains many auxiliary tables necessary for assessing the reliability of conclusions obtained as a result of statistical processing of experimental data or observational data.
